POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILBLE IN CANCER METABOLISM

The laboratory of Cancer Metabolism is looking for a motivated Junior Postdoctoral Fellow
to support the research of a recently funded 5-years My First AIRC Grant. The lab is
located at the Molecular Biotechnology Center in Turin, an Institute specialized in
Molecular and Cell Biology with fully equipped state-of-the-art core facilities.
A position is available for a Postdoc in the young team of Dr. Paolo Porporato starting
indicatively on June 1st, 2019. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct a translational project in
the field of cancer metabolism, focused on the role of metabolism in the development of
Cancer Cachexia. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international
team are required.

Requirements:
- Holder of a PhD degree in Medical, Pharmaceutical or Biomedical Sciences or related.
- Excellence in Cancer Research, especially biochemistry, molecular biology,
immunohistochemistry.
- Recent practice of in vivo experiments in mice.
- Fluid in spoken and written English.
- Availability to spend a training period abroad

Expertise in either MS-Metabolomics or Zebrafish will be a great plus.
