Research Pathologist/Scientist for the Precision Pathology Biobanking Center (PPBC) at MSKCC

NEW YORK, NEW YORK (USA). We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and independent research pathologist/scientist for our rapidly growing new Precision Pathology Biobanking Center (PPBC). This could be an ideal position for a (foreign-trained) pathologist who does not need to be licensed for clinical practice in the US.

This position provides unique exposure to clinical trial pathology (with large phase 1 component) and the ability to develop new multiplex diagnostic assays(IHC/IF/ISH panels on our latest Ventana platform). Interest in computational pathology (machine learning, natural language processing) would be very desirable.

This position requires an M.D., Ph.D., D.V.M., or M.D./Ph.D. with strong pathology skills and broad scientific knowledge and technical laboratory skills. Examples include diagnostic histology/pathology, multiplex IHC/IF, PCR/qPCR/FISH, and standard molecular techniques.
