Dr. Shoshana Yakar at the New York University College of Dentistry is searching for a post-doctoral fellow to study skeletal growth, development and aging in animal models with impaired growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor 1 axis. Candidate should be highly motivated cell biologist who is capable of carrying on independent research with an expertise in confocal microscopy, live cells imaging, and other standard cell biology methods.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Candidates must be within 5 years of completing a PhD.
• Experience in mitochondria biology.
• Competence in planning and multitasking, and excellent organizational skills.
• Both written and oral communication are required.

NYUは、アメリカ最大都市、マンハッタンの東側、２３ｒｄの通りにあり、とても安全な場所です。地下鉄、バスやタクシーなどの交通機関もかなり整備されています。そのため、車を手配する必要がありません。大学にはポスドクハウジングがあり、格安で居住することが可能です。ハウジングの場所を探す必要もないため、初めて海外で働く方にもとても安心していただけます。ポスドクのハウジングは、大学まで徒歩１５－２０分程度で、日本のスーパーや日本食のお店が多数ある場所に位置しています。また、大学のキャンパスバス（巡回バス、無料）で大学に通うことが出来ます。
