STING-mediated antiviral immunity in Drosophila
A three-year post-doctoral position funded by ANR is available in the antiviral immunity group (Pr. Jean-Luc Imler) at Institut de Biologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire (IBMC) in Strasbourg France (http://ibmc ridi.cnrs.fr/en/research-groups/antiviral-immunity/). Project aims at understanding the structure and characterizing functionally the homologue of STING in Drosophila in the context of antiviral immunity.
The position will be available from January 2018.
We are looking for motivated and ambitious candidates with strong expertise at least one of the following disciplines: molecular biology, cell fractionation, protein analysis and drosophila genetics.
Previous experience in the field of virology and/or innate immunity is not
absolutely required but will be an advantage. The selected applicant will join a
multinational team composed of fifteen people, hosted by the Institut de Biologie
Moléculaire et Cellulaire (CNRS) on the central campus of the University of
