Postdoctoral Position in Epigenetics and Immunology, University of Pennsylvania
A postdoctoral position is available in the Anguera lab located in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia PA. We are looking for highly motivated, independent, and talented individuals who want to investigate epigenetic mechanisms underlying the female bias in autoimmune disorders and immunological responses. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D., MD/Ph.D. or equivalent) and have strong training in innate or adaptive immunology, virology of host response, epigenetics, imprinting, X-chromosome Inactivation, molecular biology, or mouse genetics. Expertise in lymphocyte sorting using flow cytometry, functional assessment of lymphocyte sub-populations, pathogen infection modeling using mice, basic bioinformatic analyses using R/Bioconductor is strongly desired.
