In particular, the possible involvement of cancer initiation cells and the collaborative cross talks of oncogenic signaling of mutant thyroid hormone receptors with other cellular signaling pathways (e.g., p53) in carcinogenesis will be studied. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or MD, received within the past two years, an intense passion for research and science, and a strong training/experiences in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, molecular genetics and cancer biology.
