横田研究室では、筋ジストロフィー、脊髄性筋萎縮症をはじめとする神経筋疾患の分子病態の解析およびアンチセンス治療の開発を行っています。

A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Deshpande lab at the Sanford Burnham Medical Research Institute in San Diego, California, to study normal and leukemic stem cells using genomic, epigenomic and biochemical methods. The lab is interested in cancer epigenetics with a core focus on acute myeloid leukemia using mouse models. There is also a strong interest in normal hematopoietic stem cell biology.

ロンドン大学ポスドク募集（心不全に対する細胞移植療法の開発）

My laboratory is looking for a post-doctoral fellow (2 year or more) or visiting Researcher (1 year minimum) to conduct both in vitro and in vivo research experiments focused on the signal transduction mechanism of vascular disease development via caveolin-1 using primary culture and mouse models of atherosclerosis, hypertension and aortic aneurysm. Cutting-edge cell biological and biochemical approaches, genetic mouse models, and human tissue specimens will be employed during the training period. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree. Two positions are currently available with partial financial support for the fellow starting from 2nd year or no financial support (a 1 year Visiting Researcher).

Preferred Qualifications:

Job Opportunity (graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, or research scientist) in Dr. Nghiem's Laboratory (University of Washington Dermatology)

A position for a graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, or research scientist (University of Washington Research Scientist 1) is available in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Nghiem (Medicine/Dermatology, UW Medicine South Lake Union, Seattle) to study UV-induced DNA damage responses and skin carcinogenesis. These studies would be co-led with Masaoki Kawasumi, MD, PhD (Acting Assistant Professor). The goal of these NIH-funded studies is to elucidate molecular mechanisms by which cells sense UV-induced DNA lesions (CPD and 6-4PP) and activate biological processes such as ATR-Chk1 checkpoint signaling, DNA repair, and mutagenic translesion synthesis and to dissect the molecular mechanisms by which caffeine prevents multiple types of skin cancers. Our approaches include cell culture, flow cytometry, DNA replication track analysis, Western blot analysis, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), proteomics, next-generation sequencing, and novel and established mouse genetic models. motivated applicants should have research experience in cell biology, molecular biology, or signal transduction. Applicants should have good written and oral communication skills.
