This position requires strong research skills in cell biology and molecular signaling. Candidate is expected to lead projects in the fields of neurodegenerative diseases, aging, and neuroregeneration, and to generate high-impact research publications. He or she is also expected to mentor students and technicians in experimental design and implementation. A doctoral degree and previous postdoctoral training is required in Molecular and Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Neurobiology, Cancer Biology, or related fields. A qualified candidate should speak fluent English, and have sufficient funding to support living in the US for the first year. Promotion to research scientist position is optional after successful completion of projects, which allows grant application as independent researcher.
