A research in World Class Institute (WCI) program at Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Korea.
The WCI program (Center for Kinomics-based Anticancer Research), with Prof. Raymond Leo Erickson (Director of Center) from Harvard University, consists of 16 scientists, eight Koreans and eight non Koreans. In addition eight foreign collaborators at Harvard Medical School and MIT, Maxplanck Institute and so on, have joined WCI for its global interdisciplinary research. Support is available from Dec. 1st, 2009 to Nov. 30th 2014. The aims of our WCI program are; finding anticancer targets and therapeutic drug candidates and identification of their functional roles in cancer. Any researchers who are interested in and have strong backgrounds in related fields are invited to apply. The foreign researchers would be given an apartment and monthly rental fee. Annual income would be 50-60 million won depending on their experience. Applicants should submit their CV to bykim@kribb.re.kr.
