Two NIH-funded postdoctoral positions are available immediately to study signaling pathways that regulate the translational machinery. Current lab focus is on the abnormal regulation of protein synthesis in lymphoma cells and how this can be exploited for cancer therapy. Interested candidates must possess a recent Ph.D. with relevant experience in molecular biology. Priority will be given to candidates with experience/interest in RNA technology. The laboratory is located in the Bressler Research Building with state-of-the-art facilities including core facilities for confocal microscopy, mass spectrometry, flow cytometry, bioinformatics, animal husbandry, etc. The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center is an NCI-Designated Cancer Center.
