Postdoctoral Position
A NIH funded postdoctoral position is available immediately to study the molecular mechanism of leukemia and myeloproliferative disorders. The successful candidate will perform in vivo studies using knock-out and knock-in mice in addition to cell culture studies to identify the critical signaling pathways required for transformation/ leukemogenesis. Additional studies will involve determination of phenotype in mice by flow cytometric and biochemical analyses. The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. within last 3 years in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or Immunology with keen interest in science and strong research background. Most recent PhDs are preferred. Experience with flow cytometry and animal studies would be helpful although not essential.
