If you share our passion for discovery, consider the following opportunity within City of Hope's Beckman Research Institute, one of the nation's premier biomedical research centers. A postdoctoral fellowship is available in the Laboratory of Dr. Ya-Huei Kuo in the Department of Hematopoietic Stem Cell and Leukemia Research at the Beckman Research Institute. The scope of the project consists of research projects involved in mouse models of acute myeloid leukemias, investigation of molecular mechanisms underlying leukemogenesis, and regulatory mechanisms of hematopoietic and leukemia stem cells. To qualify: the candidate must have a Ph.D. and a strong background in hematopoietic and leukemia stem cell research. Also, the prospective candidate should be highly motivated and posses skills in molecular biology, tissue culture, flow cytometry, mouse handling along with a solid background in molecular and cell biology.
