An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in the Dept of Medicine at Stony Brook University. We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow who has received their degree within the last three years. Research area includes the elucidation of matrix metalloproteinases in cancer invasion and metastasis and the characterization of a novel gene in cancer cell invasion. The success candidate will also involve in the development of inhibitors to target cancer cell invasion using a novel phenotypic screening approach. The candidate should have experience in cellular and molecular biology. Familiarity with cancer cell signaling assays and excellent communication skills are desirable.
