Well-funded postdoctoral positions available

Our laboratory uses novel chemical genetic, genomic, and proteomic approaches in conjunction with molecular and cell biological, biochemical, and genetic methods to explore the following problems:

1) Molecular basis of the mTOR (target of rapamycin) pathway in association with cancer, cardiac hypertrophy, neurodegenerative diseases, diabetes, and aging; novel drugs for these diseases
2) ES cell and neural stem cell differentiation
3) Biological network models

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in one or more of the above areas.

The successful candidate will have the freedom to play a leadership role in both new and existing projects, and have opportunity to be involved in multidisciplinary efforts and collaborations with computer scientists, physicists, engineers, chemists, and physicians.
