A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Professor Ruslan Medzhitov at Yale University School of Medicine. We are seeking a qualified Japanese individual to work on a project to investigate the biology of host-commensal and host-pathogen interactions. The applicant should have a Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D., and have the basic ability to communicate in English. We seek individuals with a strong background in mouse manipulations (in vivo and ex vivo), cell and molecular biological techniques, with a preference with experience in the study of the intestinal immunity. Stipend will be paid at the level commensurate with the NIH guidelines. We encourage motivated young female or male scientists to apply.
