私がPI(教官)として所属する、テンプル大学医学部心臓血管研究センターで日本からのポスドクを募集しています。PIのDr. Sabriは同僚の私からみて、大変穏やかかつまじめで意欲的な研究者です。また、日本人の研究者に対する理解も十分にあります。センターにはすでに日本人研究者が現在8人いて、アメリカでの生活開始を支援します。ここPhiladelphiaはNew York, DCのほぼ間にあって(NYまで車でも電車でも2時間以内)、地下鉄、鉄道の便も良く、日本食品等、日本人が生活していく上で困ることはまずありません。

Postdoctoral position is immediately available at the Cardiovascular Research Center at Temple University to study the role of inflammation and inflammatory proteases in cardiac remodeling and gene transfer therapy. Applicants should have an M.D or Ph.D. degree with a strong background in the area of molecular biology and/or biochemistry with preference in the area of recombinant expression systems, enzyme purification or protease activity assay design for ex-ample. Your work will involve creation of the gene expression system in cells and animals by the viral vector, protein expression and purification, and/or characterization of proteins such as enzymatic activity, signal transduction and functions.
